Hiking

Culture and History
The Maison des Tresses et Lacets is a museum workshop in a former braiding factory. It houses 40 wooden looms that are more than one hundred years old, on which shoelaces and braids are produced; visitors can observe the manufacturing process. The Maison des Tresses et Lacets welcomes visitors from March to November.
Moulin Pinte was initially an oil mill dating from 1501, then became a vinegar factory and nail forge, was used as a silk mill from the 19th century onward, and was converted into a factory for braids and shoelaces throughout the 20th century. The Moulin Pinte site includes a themed water trail.
La Madone was erected after the First World War as a protective statue for the soldiers of the municipality and was officially blessed on May 1, 1921. The Mémoire Ouvrière project presents testimonies from former female and male textile workers from La Terrasse-sur-Dorlay.
The ruins of Château de Châteauneuf are located in the vicinity of La Terrasse-sur-Dorlay. The historic site Abbaye de Valbenoîte and the church église Notre-Dame are also nearby. Château de Fontanes is located in the wider regional area.
