In Juré, hiking trail no. 8, Bois de Pérérui, leads to the Voûte de buis. The overgrown archway lies along the hiking trails of Juré and connects the hamlets of La Vialle and La Buissière.

Exploring the countryside
A hike near Juré follows documented sections of the historic Roanne–Vichy railway line, known as the “Tacot”, and reaches the banks of the Aix. The viaduct can be seen on hiking trails no. 7, 8 and 9 of the Pays d’Urfé topoguide. Juré is part of the Bois Noirs, which offers mountain-biking trails.
Traces of history
The viaduct is a disused structure made of pink granite that spans a small valley. From 1912 to 1939, a small train connecting Roanne and Vichy travelled over its arches.
Village and tradition
The Église Saint Barthélémy stands in the centre of the village of Juré and was rebuilt in the 19th century. During the Christmas celebrations, a nativity scene occupies part of the transept of the Église Saint Barthélémy.
