The Musée Géo-Charles bears the French designation “Musée de France” and preserves collections and archives donated by Mme Lucienne Géo-Charles in 1982.
The Centre du graphisme was created as a continuation of the Mois du graphisme, whose first edition was held in spring 1990. The Centre du graphisme presents its exhibitions in the three buildings of the Le TRACé institution. Le TRACé’s artistic programme encompasses graphic design, contemporary and modern art, industrial heritage, and the memory of the working class.
The Musée du Petit Drac is housed in the remains of a former farm of the same name. It presents 150 objects, mainly agricultural tools, documenting rural life between 1900 and 1950.
Échirolles’ municipal Documentation-Archives service holds around 2 kilometres of archive material relating to the city’s nearly 200-year history, its municipal services, and its various city administrations. The Échirolles municipal archives are freely accessible to everyone by prior appointment.

Parc Maurice-Thorez has three signposted orienteering courses. Frange Verte offers a particularly green walking area within the municipality of Échirolles, with paths for strolling.
Parc des Templiers includes a 250 m² pond with a secure wooden bridge. It also features a one-kilometre-long ecological corridor leading towards Parc Robert-Buisson. Parc Croix-de-Vérines provides an additional 23,000 m² of green space in Échirolles.
Stade nautique d’Échirolles offers swimming, water aerobics, water polo, triathlon, disability sports, and diving.
Public transport
Échirolles city centre is served by tram line A, the Chrono-7 bus route, and the railway station as part of the public transport network.
