Éloise: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Rhône borders Éloise for a length of 6.5 kilometres. At the confluence of the Parmant and the Haut-Rhône in Éloise lies the Tines de Parnant gorge, which contains a waterfall several metres high.

Culture and History

The Musée paysan is a municipal museum in Éloise. It presents old household items in an environment designed as a traditional Savoyard living room. The objects on display include glazed earthenware, a wooden press, tools and machines used by craftsmen and farmers, Savoyard cradles, embroidered linen and old toys.

The Pont de Grésin was built in 1947 to replace the former bridge, which had been flooded when the Génissiat reservoir was filled.
