In Puy-Saint-Martin’s preserved old road network, the “Village perché” walking tour provides access to the upper village. Anyone choosing Puy-Saint-Martin as a holiday destination may wish to rent a holiday apartment there.
Culture
The preserved and restored houses in the old village date from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. The municipality has 17 surviving stone agricultural cabanons; farmers used them to store tools close to their fields. The washhouse in Puy-Saint-Martin was built in the second half of the 19th century and restored in 2012.
Visitors can climb up to the ruins of Puy-Saint-Martin castle and enjoy the view over the plain. The castle ruins can be visited individually or in groups, year-round, continuously and without a guide.
Nature
The “Sur les Pas d'Adèle...” walking trail begins at Puy-Saint-Martin town hall and conveys the history of the village through 15 information panels. The “Sur les pas d'Adèle” circular trail also begins at the town hall and leads to a viewpoint with a 180° panorama.
The signposted “Chevrière - Pigne” hiking trail is a moderately difficult 11.24 km circular route that starts and ends in Puy-Saint-Martin. It offers views of the plains, Couspeau mountain and the Saoû forest. The “Charivari” trail offers views of the wooded synclinal area of Saoû, Rochecolombe and the Valdaine plain; the trail to the information board provides a 180° panorama.
The hills above Puy-Saint-Martin’s old village can be reached via lanes and small paths; they lead to an information board with a 360° panorama.
Cycling
Puy-Saint-Martin Initiatives, together with the Puy-Saint-Martin Cyclo Club, offers three cycling tours starting from Puy-Saint-Martin to discover the surrounding area. The Puy-Saint-Martin tourist information office carries the “Accueil Vélo” label, provides a bicycle repair kit, offers guided tours of the old hilltop village and a wind farm, and rents mountain bikes and electric bicycles by the day, half-day or for several days.
Events
According to the municipality, the Adèle Clément Festival returned in 2025 with its third edition from 7 to 10 August. The programme of the Adèle Clément Festival 2026 included an immersive musical walk through the lanes and landscapes of Puy-Saint-Martin.

The Puy-Saint-Martin motorhome pitch, centrally located in the village, offers drinking water and a wastewater disposal facility; stays are limited to 48 hours.
