Culture

La Pontière was a medieval bridge over the Chassezac that connected Les Salelles with Gravières. The original La Pontière was swept away by flooding and has currently been replaced by a ford that can be flooded.
Geographical Location
The panoramic road “Au cœur des vallées cévenoles” begins in Gravières, heads towards Thines and runs along the upper Chassezac.
The Gravières–Les Eynès route runs through the area around Gravières and Les Salelles, from the sandstone region into a shale region. A Romanesque church dating from the 12th century is located along this route.
