Boffres is the starting point for numerous hiking trails through wonderful landscapes. The Circuit des Châteaux is a moderately difficult circular route covering 11.1 km, with a stated duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes. It starts and ends at the church in Boffres. Culture

The Circuit des Châteaux, which begins in Boffres, passes the Château de Cachard – a fortified house from the 15th and 16th centuries with characteristic round towers and flat roofs – and the Château de Tardivon, a fortified house that has stood in its hamlet for several centuries.

The composer and musician Vincent d’Indy lived at the Château des Faugs to compose music there. The Château des Faugs has been converted into luxurious guest rooms and suites and welcomes guests from May to September.

The Manoir de Chabret was built in 1589. It is inhabited and not open to visitors, but it can be admired from the outside.

The castle chapel of Boffres dates from the 13th century; only the choir and apse of the former castle chapel have survived.
