History
The Château de Rossillon was built at the end of the 12th or beginning of the 13th century on an older castle mound. It was destroyed by the Savoyards during the War of 1353. In the 15th century, the Château de Rossillon lay in ruins, possibly having already been in ruins since 1353.
The historic route la vie de l’Etraz runs through Crozet at the foot of the mountain. It follows the route used by the Helvetii during their escape.

Nature
The themed trail Le parcours du Lynx in Crozet is an easy circular route through the forest. Information boards provide details about the Eurasian lynx. The trail is 3.7 km long and has 186 metres of ascent and 186 metres of descent; its stated duration is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The route from Crozet to Crêt de la Neige via La Calame runs through the Haut-Jura Regional Nature Park and partly through the Haute Chaîne du Jura National Nature Reserve. It leads to the highest point of the Jura Massif and offers views of the Lake Geneva basin and, in clear weather, Mont Blanc.
Mountain sports
From Crozet, the Télécabine Le Fierney ascends from 600 to 1,300 metres. In winter, it provides easier access to snowshoe hikes and alpine skiing and, when the ski area is open, direct access to the ski slopes. From its mountain station, Crêt de la Neige can be reached on foot in approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Crozet also has La Tralala, a red downhill mountain bike trail for experienced riders.
From the Télécabine car park in Crozet, the access route initially follows Route de la Thène for approximately 700 metres. The trail then begins on the left at a footbridge.
