Champfromier offers three signposted and secured walking and hiking routes. One of them is the circular hike “Le Cirque des Avalanches”, which begins at the Champfromier community hall. The “Le Dragon Sous-Roche” hiking trail follows the banks of the Valserine and includes old stone bridges, a power station with an unusual history and a customs hut. The Pierre Percée area is the starting point for this two-hour hike. It is named after a waterfall that carved a hole in a rocky plateau and is also a stage of the “Voie du Tram” route.
Nature
The Combe d’Evuaz lies at an altitude of around 1,100 metres and is a natural landscape that invites exploration. It is the hamlet farthest from the centre of Champfromier and lies on the border with La Pesse in the Jura. The former pasture and haymaking landscape has been reclaimed by the forest.

The Pont d’Enfer washhouse in the centre of Champfromier is considered the municipality’s finest covered washhouse complex.
La Borne au Lion is a cultural-historical site that is also a natural area. Information boards on the site explain its special features; there are also picnic tables and a shelter.
