Gonfaron: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture and History

The foundation stone of Gonfaron’s parish church, Notre-Dame-de-L’Immaculée-Conception, was laid in 1862; it was consecrated in July 1865. The Chapelle Saint-Quinis was demolished in 1848 and completely rebuilt in 1849. It is said to stand on the site of a 12th-century parish church.

The limestone used for Gonfaron’s Tour de l’Horloge comes from a quarry north of the village. There is a fountain at the foot of the Tour de l’Horloge.

Nature and Activities

The 6-hectare Parcours de la Nasque comprises two nature trails of around 1.5 kilometres each, running along paths and through wooded tracks. Each loop of the Parcours de la Nasque has 24 targets.

In the Gonfaron area, the Parcours de la Nasque is a venue for three official outdoor archery disciplines.

Wine

The Terres Ailées de Gonfaron winery was founded in 1921. The wines marketed by Terres Ailées de Gonfaron come from four different terroirs.

Wine tastings, introductions to wine tasting and cellar tours can be arranged at Terres Ailées de Gonfaron.

Gonfaron has 16 fountains whose water flows practically all year round; a circular route currently under development is intended to make it possible to visit them.
