The Château d’Harcourt was built in the 12th century and has a vaulted prison on the ground floor. The Donjon de Gouzon houses the Espace d’Archéologie Industrielle, which presents the stone and porcelain industries of the Pays chauvinois.
The Church of Saint-Pierre-les-Églises preserves Carolingian frescoes on the walls of its apse, created between 780 and 980 and counted among the oldest works of medieval Europe. Saint-Pierre-les-Églises is closed outside guided tours.
