The present-day building of the Logis de la Baudinière in Chapelle-Viviers dates from the 17th century and was remodelled in 1904. The Logis consists of a central residential wing, with two pavilions set back at right angles on either side. By decree of 6 March 1987, the façades and roofs, the staircase, and the 17th-century fireplace on the ground floor were partially protected as a historic monument.
In the Middle Ages, the Theil-aux-Moines Priory was under the authority of the Benedictine Order. The order was founded at the beginning of the 12th century in Tiron (Eure-et-Loir). The Church of Saint-Étienne has a single-nave layout with a barrel vault and transverse arches.
