Culture and History
The Église Notre-Dame et Saint-Pierre de Cherves has been listed as a historic monument since 22 March 1930. The building dates from the 12th century, and its apse was rebuilt in the 15th century. Its features include a barrel-vaulted nave, sculpted capitals and a square bell tower.
The main construction phase of the Ancien prieuré dates back to the 11th century. Its surviving remains consist of the ruins of the nave and individual sections of wall; the transept and choir have been destroyed. The Ancien prieuré also preserves sculpted capitals from the transept, six of which were placed under protection in 1923.

Nature
The Coteau du Chatelars is a steep, wooded slope overlooking the Croutelle and containing the Grotte des Fées. It is home to 24 notable species, including the plant Lilium martagon, which has a montane affinity. The Coteau du Chatelars also serves as a nesting site for rare woodland bird species.

The Sentier de la Mémoire conveys the history of the local resistance associated with the Maquis Bir'Hacheim and begins in Le Châtelars.
