The Musée départemental de l’École Publique is housed in Vergné’s former one-class school, which opened in 1892, closed in 1992 and was subsequently converted into a museum. A guided tour with commentary lasting approximately one hour is offered there. The permanent exhibition is supplemented by a temporary exhibition every year. Next to the museum there is a picnic area and a playground.

Vergné’s church is dedicated to Saint Martin and has been completely restored. Its portal is made of riveted wood. The chancel end dates from the Romanesque period; several sculpted corbels, known as modillions, are attached directly above the windows.

The municipal fountain is also part of the village’s history. It is fed by an underground river and was formerly used to supply the inhabitants and animals with water.

The La Trézence River crosses Vergné on its southern side. The A10 motorway runs through Vergné.

Vergné has the visitor walking route “Circuit Explorer Autrement – Vergné”. The route is 3 km long.
