Boisredon: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Boisredon combines medieval ecclesiastical history with striking landscape features and signposted trails. The Church of Saint-Pierre dates from the 12th century and was formerly a priory dependent on St-Romain de Blaye. Inside, there is a holy water stoup dating from 1611. Next to the church stands a 12th-century cemetery cross with an octagonal base. Its shaft is decorated with foliage and figures depicting a scene from the life of Adam and Eve.

Culture and History
Historical traces have also been preserved at the hamlet of Le Logis. Remains of brickworks and pottery kilns bear witness to a time when special clay known as “lure” was extracted for the production of pottery. Landscape
Boisredon is crossed by four named watercourses: the Marguerite, the Bondou, the Taillé and the Guirande. The town centre is situated on a hill, at the foot of which the Marguerite flows. The signposted circular hiking trail Circuit pédestre N°15a “Pas de Turia” is 9 kilometres long. The “Pas de Turia” hiking trail follows the Marguerite stream and crosses it several times via small wooden footbridges. Boisredon also has circular routes for hiking and cycling tours.
