Within the municipal area of Quend, the Dunes du Royon stretch between Fort-Mahon and Quend-Plage. An educational trail with information panels leads through the dune habitat and wetlands. Wild dunes have been preserved in Quend-Plage-les-Pins; the town also has a pine forest that is unique on the Picardy coast.

Nature
The Parc du Marquenterre is an ornithological nature reserve in nearby Saint-Quentin-en-Tourmont, between Le Crotoy and Quend. It offers a 6 km visitor trail and 13 observation posts.

The Dune du Royon route can begin in Quend-Plage and run towards Fort-Mahon, or vice versa. It passes through an extremely sensitive dune habitat with numerous plant species and many birds.
The Le Colombier route begins at a car park in Monchaux on the road to Quend-Plage. It leads through fields and meadows, between bushes and wooded areas, along paths bordered by small streams, in a landscape shaped by farms.
Experiences
Asinerie du Marquenterre is a publicly accessible educational farm, founded in 2003 and opened to the public in 2004. It enables visitors to come into direct contact with farm animals.
