La Maguetterie in Chigny offers farm visits and sells goat cheese; every day from 5 to 6 p.m., visitors can experience the milking there. In the 2023 activity guide, La Maguetterie also offered, by appointment, a visit to the goat milking between 5 and 6 p.m. The operators of the goat cheese dairy contributed a recipe for a potato tart with fresh goat cheese.

The regional cheese-making tradition is also closely linked to Thiérache: Thiérache is known for Maroilles, a soft cheese with a washed rind that has been produced there since the 7th century.
