Culture
The Église Saint-Martin has been protected as a historic monument by decree of 9 March 1987. Its main construction phase dates from the 12th and 13th centuries. It has a Romanesque nave from the 11th century and a choir from the late 12th century.

Trails
La Boucle des Vergers is a 33 km circular route designated as Vendée Vélo. It passes through the municipalities of Saint-Martin-Lars-en-Sainte-Hermine, La Caillère-Saint-Hilaire and La Jaudonnière.
The Les Batailles hiking trail begins at the Place de l'Église in Saint-Martin-Lars-en-Sainte-Hermine. The circular hike is 16 km long, takes an average of 4 hours and 30 minutes, has a moderate difficulty level and is marked as a yellow PR trail. It runs along the transition between the plain and the bocage landscape and offers a diverse natural environment.
Nature
The Étang de Saint-Martin is a 2.4-hectare municipal pond created in 1973. A path connects the town centre with the Étang de Saint-Martin, with wooden footbridges crossing the Theu stream along the way.
At the Étang de Saint-Martin, a spring feeds an old small washhouse made of dressed stone beside a path. Every year, the municipality of Saint-Martin and volunteers from the village organise a fishing event there.
Dragonflies and birds can be observed at the Étang de Saint-Martin; bulrushes, cattails and irises grow around the small lake.
