The notable prehistoric monuments include the Menhirs de la Rainière. The Menhir de la Rainière site consists of two menhirs standing side by side. The Lavoir de la Courolle is also part of local tradition: according to tradition, during years of drought, the population would go there in procession. The Lavoir de la Courolle is a former sacred spring and is open all year round.

The Circuit Vert is 5.4 kilometres long and marked with green signs. It leads through the landscape of Saint-Hilaire-la-Forêt, with its sunken lanes and bocage landscape.
