Culture and History
The historic walking route in Le Boupère is a 1.2-kilometre walk lasting approximately one and a half hours, beginning at Place Cunaud. At Église Saint-Pierre, the covered western rampart walk towers 15 metres above the church square.
Chapelle Notre-Dame de Toutes Grâces features stained-glass windows and a small altar made of white and green marble. Its central aisle is paved with sandstone from Maubeuge. The chapel was consecrated following a mission under the name “Chapelle de toutes grâces”; this mission was preached on 24 September 1933.
Walking Trails and Landscapes
The Pierre Barouh Promenade is a two-kilometre path through the wooded areas of the village and the bocage landscape of Le Boupère. It begins at the kiosk on Place Cunaud. The promenade is an open-air space for invention and creativity, where walkers can discover the world of Pierre Barouh and artists can integrate works into the landscape.
Parking is available for Circular Route No. 27 at the Le Boupère sports complex, which also offers the opportunity to have a picnic. The circular route passes through the surroundings of Le Boupère and includes two crossings – through fords and over footbridges.
On the “La Forêt” circular route, the Paillote de la Davière serves as a place to take a break.
