Froidfond: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Sentier des biches runs along shady paths with diverse flora and through undergrowth. The Boucle des chevreuils is a nature trail through bocage landscapes and undergrowth.
Culture
The Calvaire du Pont Prieur in Froidfond was blessed in 1948 during a mission. The Grand Calvaire is one of the ten calvaries still preserved in Froidfond and was erected in 1931 following a mission.
The monument Calvaire le Sacré Cœur in Froidfond was erected in 1915. Its base bears the names of 73 soldiers who died in the war of 1914 to 1918. The Puits de la Froide fontaine was restored in 2015 and is located on the Chemin des Charbonnières in Froidfond.
History
The Église Sainte-Marie Madeleine was built in the 19th century and replaced a priory dating from the 10th century. It retains its bell tower and pyramid-shaped spire.
The Manoir de la Ferronnière retains in its chapel capitals with vault springings, carved motifs, credence niches and a tripartite surround of a granite window.
Routes and Events
The “De Froidfond à Chateauneuf” cycle route runs between Froidfond and Chateauneuf and is signposted at Froidfond cemetery.
The Feux de Bengale are held in Froidfond every year around 14 July.
