At the La Forêt-Nesdeau estate in Chaix, the listing as a historic monument on 25 October 2010 covers the façades and roofs of the main residence. The Domaine de la Forêt-Nesdeau is notable for its exterior iron fittings and the banister of the main staircase. The estate also includes a dovecote with a defensive function, which is considered a comparatively rare type of building.

The Pont Eiffel was built in 1882 according to plans by the famous architect Gustave Eiffel. It connects the two places of Auchay and Chaix.
