Bourneau is home to the Church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste and the Château de Bourneau. The Church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste in Bourneau has been classified as a historic monument since 1930; the du Puy du Fou family played a major role in the construction of the present-day church from 1445 onwards. The Château de Bourneau is a Renaissance-style building with a 16-hectare park.

The Protestant cemetery of Bourneau is also part of the village landscape. It contains 11 graves and is located at the entrance to the village on the road to Sérigné.

La Porte du Bocage is a linear route that is not designed as a circular trail. It is 6.9 km long in one direction and is a hilly hiking trail.

Just before the entrance to La coulée verte, there is a pilgrims' sign where pilgrims can take a break. In Bourneau, a bronze nail depicting a scallop shell also serves as a navigational aid.
