Nature

Two named circular hiking trails start in Antigny. The “Circuit pédestre le sentier de l’Ancienne Ligne” is 12.6 km long and follows a hilly route from village to village through Antigny; it also leads to the restored Grotte Notre Dame de la Salette, is marked in yellow and is walked clockwise. The “Circuit pédestre le sentier de la Vallée de la Mère” also starts in Antigny, is 14.6 km long and partly follows the long-distance GR de Mélusine hiking trail. It can be shortened to a 10.5 km loop called “Sentier de la Grotte” and offers varied rural landscapes.

Anyone who has chosen Antigny as their destination may wish to rent a holiday apartment for their stay.

In the town centre lies the Aire de loisirs du Pont, with seven shaded tables, a landscaped park, boules, possible fishing opportunities and toilets.

In the Pays de La Châtaigneraie, more than 100 films and 150 screenings are listed each year for the mobile cinema circuit Balad’Image; the Espace Ben-Hur is listed as a venue in Antigny.

In the vicinity of Antigny are the Château de l’Évaudière, the Château du Lac, the Manoir des sciences museum and the Église Saint-Pierre church.
