Culture

The Saint-Léonard Church in Louplande was built between 1875 and 1880. It is designed in the Neo-Romanesque style; its main masonry consists of limestone and roussard sandstone.

At a road junction, the U.S. A-36 Airfield Memorial commemorates the Allied airfield and the units stationed there during the Second World War.

The Château de la Suze-sur-Sarthe is located in the vicinity of Louplande. The Château de Sourches, the Château de Malicorne-sur-Sarthe and the Abbaye Saint-Pierre de la Couture are also located in the wider surrounding region.

The Château de Villaines was built in the first half of the 17th century on the ruins of a medieval castle and has not been significantly altered or extended since then. Old houses made of roussard sandstone stand in the Vieux bourg of Louplande.

Cycling

The Boucle de la Foucaudière in Louplande is an easy 20.0 km circular cycling route. The stated duration for the route is one hour. It leads through forests and plains to the Château de Maquillé.
