The port of La Suze now welcomes numerous tourists seeking peace and quiet. La Suze à Pieds en poésie begins at the port; this approximately 4-kilometre walking trail features poetic stations.
La boucle suzeraine is an 8-kilometre hike offered by the Nature et Randonnées association. The short, easy Les Hautes Belles hike starts at La Suze-sur-Sarthe railway station. The Vélobuissonnière, which connects Alençon with Saumur, also passes through La Suze-sur-Sarthe.
Culture and history
The Chapelle Notre-Dame-des-Bois dates back to the 12th century. The Chapelle Notre-Dame des Bois houses the sculptural group “L'Education de la Vierge”. It dates from around the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries and has been classified as a protected historic object since 24 January 1979.
The Romanesque church of Saint-Julien also dates back to the 12th century.

La Suze-sur-Sarthe railway station is served by line 21, which connects Le Mans, Angers and Nantes.
