The Marais de Cré-sur-Loir / La Flèche has been a regional nature reserve covering 65 hectares since 31 March 2008. It extends across Cré-sur-Loir and La Flèche.

The area includes reed beds, floodplain forests, wet meadows, ponds and hedgerows. Canals run through the area along the Loir.

Church and Art

History

The former parish church of Sainte-Marie-des-Champs in Cré-sur-Loir dates from the 15th century.

The Manoir de la Blottière in Cré-sur-Loir was founded in the 13th century and remodelled in the 15th and 18th centuries. It includes moats and walls with loopholes.

The grounds of the Manoir de la Blottière were open to visitors from 14 July until the end of August.

La Cour de Cré is a manor house built in the 11th century, where justice was administered and which was converted into a farm after the French Revolution.
