Culture and History
The Church of Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul stands in Cherré and has been partially listed as a historic monument since 1927. It features construction phases from the 16th century, the third quarter of the 17th century, and the first quarter of the 20th century. The family pew in the church was made in the 19th century from 16th-century elements and comes from the Château du Haut-Buisson. This château is currently being restored.
The Domaine du Haut-Buisson was the former residence of Princess Alice of Monaco. The main building of the Château de Jumilhac was constructed in 1847 by François Hippolyte Destailleur for Armand Chapelle de Jumilhac, the Duke of Richelieu.

In Cherré-Au, the Domaine du Haut-Buisson includes a wooded park where walks are possible. The Parc Lucienne Paillard is one of Cherré's locally designated heritage sites; in Cherré-Au, it covers 6 hectares and has a mountain-bike trail as well as footpaths. A statue of the Virgin and Child is also one of Cherré's local heritage sites.
