Construction of the Château de Montigny began in the 16th century. The château as a whole dates from the 17th century; it was remodelled in the 18th century and at the beginning of the 19th century.

The Église Saint-Ouen was originally a chapel dependent on the château. Its nave was built at the beginning of the 16th century, while the choir was not completed until the 18th century. The church has a preserved stained-glass window depicting Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane. It also contains noteworthy woodwork, including an 18th-century altarpiece.

The fourth edition of the Rando Gourmande 2026 combined a 10-kilometre hike through the Forêt de Roumare with five gourmet stops created and prepared by chefs. The starting point was the Relais de Montigny.
