La Choule is a local festival in Martin-Église that takes place every year. In the 13th and 14th centuries, Etran was a small landing port for flat-bottomed boats.

The stone-carving workshop in the municipal workshops of Martin-Église takes place on Tuesdays from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.; participants can make, among other things, bookends, bas-reliefs and statues.
