Blainville-Crevon: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture and History

The Site Médiéval de Blainville-Crevon includes a medieval motte dating from the 11th century. Five successive castles were built on it between the 12th and 18th centuries. The medieval site is accessible to people with reduced mobility; a reserved parking space is available at the entrance.

The Collégiale Saint-Michel de Blainville-Crevon was built in 1488 by Jean d'Estouteville, Lord of Torcy and Blainville, to establish a collegiate chapter of twelve canons there. The transept contains a life-size statue of the Archangel Michael dating from the late 15th century. The Collégiale Saint-Michel also features sandstone and flint masonry.

Art and Literature

La Sirène preserves around 250 paintings and drawings left by Anatole Jakovsky. These are predominantly works of naïve art, as well as art brut and folk art. La Sirène also has a significant library dedicated to art and literature.

Nature and Trails

The Circuit du Crevon is an easy 9.8-kilometre circular hiking route.

Events and Guided Tours

Archéo Jazz is an international cultural event held every year in the centre of the Site Médiéval de Blainville-Crevon. The event was established to fund excavations and other work.

Individual guided tours of the Site Médiéval de Blainville-Crevon are available on request. The “Les Trois trésors de Blainville” tours visit three significant sites in Blainville-Crevon on the first Sunday of each month from April to September 2026.
