Culture
The Église Saint-Vigor is a Romanesque Revival church with three naves; Louis Chifflet created its murals between 1888 and 1894.
The Chapelle du Sacré-Cœur was designed in 1901 and built by the architect Félix Pignard. It is constructed of granite and sandstone; its façade features sculpted capitals and a large rose window.
The contemporary garden “Intérieur à ciel ouvert” in Athis-de-l'Orne is open to the public and features contemporary works of art along its paths. The site is home to the Galerie Libre COURs, which offers exhibitions from May to September.
The Athis Temple is part of the architectural heritage that can be discovered along the Chemin Huguenot in Athis-de-l'Orne.
Trails
Circular trail no. 14, “Autour d'Athis”, starts at the car park near the town hall, opposite the church, and is 15.5 km long; a variant covers 9.9 km.
The 12-km Chemin Huguenot is marked with seven information boards commemorating important sites of Protestantism in Sainte-Honorine-la-Chardonne and Athis-de-l'Orne.
There is also the “Les Tisserands” hiking trail in Athis-de-l'Orne.
Bois Meunier Velay has outdoor play equipment for children as well as a fitness trail for children and adults.
A walk of approximately 30 minutes is possible in Bois Meunier Velay and around the pond opposite.
Nature
The approximately 2-km “Vallon humide” botanical nature trail allows visitors to discover various local species.
Fishing is possible at Étang de la Queue d'Aronde. The site has children's play areas, a fitness trail, picnic tables, and walking opportunities.
Étang de la Queue d'Aronde is crossed by the Courteille, a small tributary of the Lembron.
