The 90th Infantry Division and 82nd Airborne Division Monument – Gourbesville is a site of military history and a memorial monument. It commemorates American soldiers from these two units who fell near Gourbesville in June 1944 and is located in Le Bourg on the D 69.

Culture and History
The estate of Gourbesville was donated to the Benedictines of Saint-Père de Chartres by the knight Richard de Reviers in August 1060. The Manoir de la cour de Gourbesville is a remarkable building dating from the 16th to the 20th century. The Église Saint-Ermeland is a religious building dating from the 12th, 13th and 14th centuries.
The Église Saint-Hermeland is closely integrated into the buildings of the former ecclesiastical seigneurial domain of the village. It stands at a crossroads of minor roads where two older traffic routes intersect. The site of the former manor house and the Église Saint-Hermeland de Gourbesville, rather than Orglandes, is considered the more likely location of the Cella of Aindres, where Saint Hermeland is said to have resided.
The Hindersinn memorial contains a display case with the engine of his aircraft and was inaugurated in his honour in September 2010.

The D 126 connects Gourbesville with Orglandes to the west. It is a branch of an important road of prehistoric origin that crosses the peninsula from the Baie des Veys to the port of Dielette.
