Culture
The Sainte-Croix Church was built in the 12th century and rebuilt several times. Its interior has a 9% floor incline, which places the high altar at the same level as the organ. This feature is unique in Normandy.
Rue de Pont-Audemer runs along a former Roman road that connected Juliobona (Lillebonne) with Noviomagus (Lisieux). Numerous old half-timbered houses line the street, preserving the character of the Pays d’Auge.
The presbytery, built in 1762, was renovated into the Maison des Artisans, which hosts exhibitions. The Comptoir Artisanal showcases locally made ceramics, textiles, jewellery and decorative items.
