Nature and trails

The ponds of Condé and Appeville were formerly extraction pits for aggregates and were prepared for walks after extraction ended. On the Appeville-Annebault side, the “Tour des Étangs le Grand Huit” has a second starting point at a small car park accessible from the RD 130 Pont-Audemer-Montfort road.

The “Chemin du Chêne à la Vierge” hiking trail is 9.3 kilometres long. It begins in the hamlet of Rondemare in Appeville-Annebault or at the Aire du Val Dallet.

Culture and history

The Église Saint-André stands in the Risle valley and is protected as a historic monument; it was listed in 1862. Its present appearance was shaped by Admiral Claude d’Annebault.
