Les Jardins de Castillon comprise eight enclosed garden areas, including a water garden, flowering paths, an oriental garden and scent gardens. A second garden at Les Jardins de Castillon connects three successive terraces, clipped yew trees, boxwood borders and a labyrinth. The first garden was created in 1985, and a second was added in 1999.

The classified natural site of Ifs du cimetière de Castillon was placed under protection on 25 March 1936.

Culture and history

The Domaine de Castillon is located on the site of a former oppidum, where a coin hoard was discovered. The Château de Castillon was rebuilt in 1762 in the classical style.

The Moulin de Castillon preserves transmission mechanisms for operating the water wheel, a double Rouet de volée, a pair of millstones, a viewing machine and a flour room. The mill provides an interesting example of the organisation of a rural milling complex.

The Église Saint-Cassien stands at the eastern entrance to Castillon on the RD 73. It has a rectangular layout with nine bays: five in the nave and four in the choir. The Église Saint-Cassien dates from the 15th century.
