Campandré-Valcongrain can first be described through Mont d’Ancre and the Forêt domaniale de Valcongrain. Mont d’Ancre, located in the Valcongrain forest north of the town centre, is the highest point at 334 metres.
Nature
In the northeast, the point where the Ruisseau de Vingt Bec emerges marks the lowest point of the area at 123 metres. The Forêt domaniale de Valcongrain covers 375 hectares. It consists of deciduous forest with oaks and beeches, as well as coniferous forest with Scots pines.

Culture
In the Forêt domaniale de Valcongrain, a stele commemorates the crash of an aircraft in 1944 that was piloted by a French pilot.
The Church of Saint-Pierre dates from the 19th century. In the 19th century, it replaced the former church of Campandré and the Church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste in Valcongrain after the two parishes had been merged.
Following the fire of 1938, the hunting lodge from the 17th century is all that remains of Campandré Castle.
