The Church of Saint-Vaast was built according to plans by the architect Clovis Normand to replace an earlier place of worship, and was entirely funded by the monks of the Chartreuse Notre-Dame-des-Près. The present-day Church of Saint-Vaast dates from the early 20th century and replaced a medieval church that stood on the site of the current cemetery.

In the vicinity of Neuville-sous-Montreuil are the ruins of Abbaye Notre-Dame de Longvillers. The former monastery of Saint-Josse-sur-Mer is also nearby. The historic site of Abbaye de Valloires is located there as well.
