The Citadelle de Montreuil-sur-Mer was built from 1567 onwards on the foundations of a former royal castle. It has been classified as a Monument historique since 1926 and bears witness to seven centuries of military architecture.

The Abbatiale Saint-Saulve dates back to a monastery founded in the 10th century and was transformed in the 13th century into a large abbey church with an ambulatory and cloister. Its treasury houses religious art from the Middle Ages to the 19th century, including Europe's oldest bishop's crozier.

The Hôtel Acary de la Rivière was built in 1810 as a residence for a noble family and its domestic staff and hosts exhibitions, performances and readings. The collections of the Musée Roger Rodière focus on sacred art and depictions of Montreuil in painting.
