Le Wast: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
The Saint-Michel Church in Le Wast is a Romanesque building from the 11th century with an Arab-style portal. Since 15 November 1913, it has been classified as a historical monument; the portal was classified by decree of 19 November 1910. The body of Sainte-Ide, Countess of Boulogne and mother of Godefroy de Bouillon, was kept in the church. A processional banner of Sainte-Ide is also associated with Saint-Michel Church in Le Wast.

The Maison du Parc de Le Wast is located in a fully restored 18th-century manor house with an adjoining former brewery. The restoration was carried out using traditional building techniques from the Boulonnais region and bio-based building materials.

Le Wast is home to the Boulonnais site of one of the two visitor centres of the Parc naturel régional des Caps et Marais d’Opale.
Le Wast continues to uphold the tradition of lighting a bonfire on Saint John’s Day. Today, the woodpile is lit on the occasion of the neighbourhood festival.
