Hiking through Pévèle

The municipality of Genech offers three hiking trails. The Promenade autour de Genech is a circular route 7 to 10 kilometres long, with a stated duration of 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes. It passes through the rural landscape typical of Pévèle, with agricultural land, rows of trees and small woods, and brings important elements of Pévèle’s agricultural heritage to life.

The Circuit de la Commanderie is a 10- or 15-kilometre hiking route with a stated duration of 3 or 4 hours. It refers to a Templar commandery that existed in the area concerned between 1226 and 1770. One variant of the Circuit de la Commanderie offers a detour to Genech and its wooded landscape.

Anyone considering Genech as a destination for their stay may wish to rent a holiday apartment.
