Water
Plage d’Ardus is a natural swimming area formed by the calm waters of the Aveyron. The designated area covers 5,000 m², with a maximum depth of 2 m. Facilities include benches and a shaded meadow, a pétanque court, a picnic area, a landing stage for anglers, and step-free access. The designated swimming area is supervised in July and August.

Culture
Château d’Ardus is a pleasure palace built in the 18th century, with its construction phase taking place in 1780. The château includes a round music room decorated by Ingres père and a dovecote dating from the construction period, featuring an ornament made of glazed tiles. The façades and roofs of Château d’Ardus, as well as the music room with its furnishings, were partially classified as historic monuments on 11 October 1971.
The original Church of Saint-Saturnin de Cos dates from the early Middle Ages and was confirmed in 1097 in the bull of Urban II. Cos, also known as Cosa, has been known since the 1st century BC.
Hiking and Nature
The PR1 discovery trail “Les Coteaux d’Ardus” is 4.7 km long, takes 55 minutes, is of moderate difficulty, and starts at Plage d’Ardus. It passes through a hilly landscape with traditional cultivated areas and natural environments where there are many orchids. The trail includes a viewpoint, a rest area, and discovery stations.
The PR2 “De St Saturnin à Notre Dame” out-and-back trail runs between the village’s two churches, connects the hamlets of Ardus and Cos, and follows high-level paths down into the valley.
