Culture and History
The Église Notre-Dame de Lapeyrouse was built from 1877 to 1879 in the Romano-Byzantine style. It can be visited throughout the year by small groups upon prior reservation. By an order dated 25 February 1992, the church was listed as a historic monument.
The main construction campaign of the Bastide de Lafrançaise dates from 1877 to 1879.
