Culture
The history of the village also includes Roman remains discovered in Castelsagrat. These include mosaics and a bust of a woman made of white marble. A flower-decorated fountain adds to the village’s attractions.
The historic site of Abbaye Saint-Pierre de Moissac is located in the vicinity of Castelsagrat. The wider surrounding region of Castelsagrat is also home to the Abbaye de Belleperche monastery, the Chapelle de Lapeyrouse church and the Cathédrale Saint-Caprais church.
Nature
The Circuit des Enclos is a hiking trail for pedestrians. It takes visitors through Castelsagrat’s natural and agricultural heritage, with varied landscapes and viewpoints. A 1 km detour from this trail leads to a botanical educational trail created in 2014 by the town hall in cooperation with the ONF.
