Le Fousseret is a former bastide dating from the 13th century, built on a promontory overlooking the Garonne Valley. The bastide layout has largely been preserved: perpendicular streets are arranged around the market hall and the church.

Culture and History
The Church of Saint-Pierre aux Liens dates from the 15th century and is designed in the Southern Gothic style. The church houses a polychrome wooden Pietà from the 15th century. The Eiffel-style market hall was built in the 19th century and replaced a medieval wooden market hall.
Trails and Landscape
A self-guided tour of Le Fousseret takes you through the history of the town. A marked hiking trail leads from the Chemin de Ronde to the Promenade du Picon. The Boucle des Fontaines is an easy 3.1-kilometre circular route for horse riding, hiking and mountain biking; part of it runs along the banks of the Louge.
At the Promenade du Picon, an orientation board makes it possible to identify the various mountain ranges of the Pyrenees. The promenade offers views of the Pyrenees and is a peaceful walkway overlooking the Garonne Plain.
Markets
A local market is held weekly in Le Fousseret. A market of local producers takes place under the market hall on the first Sunday of each month.
