Culture and history
The church of Esparron houses the historic statue Vierge à l'Enfant assise, a painted and gilded wooden sculpture from the 16th century. Since February 17, 1975, it has been classified as a protected object.
The Église de la Nativité-de-la-Vierge in Esparron is a 19th-century church. The present church was built on the site of an earlier church erected in 1760; extensive work was carried out on it in the second half of the 19th century.

Nature
Esparron is among the municipalities included in the ZNIEFF Forêt de Mauboussin. The forest consists mainly of pedunculate oaks, hornbeams, chestnut trees and beech trees. It contains old high-forest stands as well as coppice-with-standards structures, giving it remarkable ecological importance. A breeding pair of short-toed snake eagles has also been recorded in the Forêt de Mauboussin.
