A marked hiking trail from the Cascades de Tendon to the Col de Bonne Fontaine takes two to three hours, leads over the Roches de la Brostille and can be undertaken on foot or by mountain bike.
Those who choose Tendon as their holiday destination may wish to rent a holiday apartment here.
Nature and Trails
The Cascades de Tendon comprise a waterfall surrounded by forest, with a drop of around 30 metres.
The Roches de la Moulure lie on the north-eastern slope of the village along the Chemin de la Moulure and consist of large granite blocks that are unusually split and layered on top of one another.
The Roche de la Brostille is a viewpoint at an altitude of 682 m, overlooking the village of Tendon. From the Cascades de Tendon, it can be reached via a hiking trail marked with red rings.
The Balade des cascades de Tendon is an easy 3.7 km out-and-back hike with an elevation gain of 70 m. Near the waterfall, it follows a wide, marked 2 km trail to the Grande Cascade and then back.
Culture and Leisure
The La Hutte quarry in Tendon supplied granite paving stones that were used for the Champs-Élysées. Le Presbytère offers an escape game lasting 1 hour and 45 minutes, in an atmosphere inspired by horror films.
Regional Products
GAEC de la Moulure produces organic cheese in Tendon and offers direct sales as well as a sales shop.
