Nature and trails
Liézey has circular hiking and mountain biking trails. The Sentier des écoliers is an educational trail that showcases the landscape diversity of Liézey. It was created by the pupils of the Liézey school and their teacher Philippe DIDIER.
The Sentier de la Pésot begins in the hamlet of Le Page, is 3 km long and takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to walk. Along the trail, there are four QR code stations and four sound creations by the Compagnie Prune, based on statements by residents of Liézey.
The Sentier des Croix is marked with red crosses on a white background. This 7 km hike, lasting 2 hours and 30 minutes, explores the local heritage, including Croix de Chemin and Fiarans.
The Balade accessible - Vers le Grand Liezey hike begins at a public car park near the church.
Discoveries along the way
The Circuit Randoland is a family walk in the form of a treasure hunt with puzzles and clues. Age-appropriate sheets are available for children aged 4 to 6, 7 to 9, and 9 to 12.
Village history
The village church of Liézey was built by the inhabitants of Liézey during the French Revolution.
Liézey's communal bread oven was built together with the presbytery around 1810 in the village centre and is regarded as evidence of village solidarity in the 19th century.
