Culture
The Chapelle de la-Trinité in Montbronn was built in 1825. In the 1970s, it was relocated because the road was widened. It was financed by the heirs of the millers Peter Bach and Elisabeth Eichert, in thanks for the fact that the two had been spared during the Revolution, even though they had provided shelter for the priest Jean Salzmann, who was hiding near their mill.
The Saint-Georges parish church in Montbronn is a Neo-Romanesque church and was rebuilt in the Neo-Romanesque style in 1896. It was designed by R. Jacquemin, an architect from Metz. The Calvaire 15 was erected by the widow of Joseph Strasser, who died in 1908 at the age of 31; in 2011, it was renovated by Monsieur Jung and the Amis de la Chapelle.
The Cristallerie Ferstler Fischer was founded in 1953 by Monsieur Ferstler Joseph and continues to preserve the tradition of hand-cutting practiced by the glass-finishing masters of the past. On site, it offers demonstrations of crystal cutting and a free workshop visit. It also displays an older collection from Lorraine crystal manufacturers dating from before 1999.
Nature
The Étang de pêche du Soleil is located between Rahling and Montbronn and is open exclusively for fishing on Sundays from the Sunday after Easter until the last Sunday in September. The Étang de pêche du Soleil is home to trout, carp, tench, perch and rudd.
Tradition
The traditional Waldifescht takes place in Montbronn at the Parcours de Santé and is held every year. At the Waldifescht, visitors can taste specialities made with sweet woodruff, known as aspérule in French.
