Culture
The present-day church in Hommert, dedicated to Saint Vendelin, was blessed by J. Brisse on 16 December 1781. Its organ was probably built around 1832 by the organ builder Verschneider. It was later completely restored by Bernard Aubertin on the initiative of Abbé Demesse and inaugurated on 14 November 1982.

The Balade Gourmande in Hommert began in 2002 as a sponsored walk to finance the church's heating costs. It covers a route of approximately 8 km with tasting stations and entertainment.
